JOB TITLE: ADVISOR - TALENT ACQUISITION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Communicate with the various departments, projects and site representatives to evaluate present and future personnel requirements.
- Develop sources of qualified applicants through various channels like advertisements, internet sources (LinkedIn, job portals...etc), recruitment agencies or manpower service providers, employee referrals.
- Review and examine Job Descriptions/Job Requirements of all positions to be filled, ensure that applicants comply to established minimum selection criteria.
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
- Create and maintain regular reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged for current or future opportunities.
- Discuss and negotiate salary and benefit details with candidate and obtain candidate acceptance. Respond to employment enquiries, update recruitment schedules and lists as required.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical recruitment / talent acquisition specialist.
- Offshore renewables (windfarm), Petrochemicals and Mining sectors' experience is preferred (but not essential).
- Knowledge of standard hiring practices, recruitment metrics, interview techniques, and management systems and approaches.
- Well versed with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end recruitment and recruitment software (preferably Taleo).
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and able to handle multiple projects.
- Have a keen eye for detail whilst being results-oriented and able to stay calm under pressure and in uncertainty.
- Able to form strong connections with others, earning their trust, and hence being able to influence even the highest level of management in the business.
- Proactive approach to HR and recruitment as a value-add function.
- Have previously worked in a multinational organization would be an advantage.
