Talent and Culture Executive

We at Novotel and Ibis World Trade Centre and Ibis One Central are seeking for Talent and Culture Executive who will join our Talent and Culture team.

What you will be doing:

- Assist in ensuring that policies & procedures are in line with current legislation and keep abreast of current trends and practices in the Talent and Culture field.
- Responsible for the dissemination of information affecting employer-employee relations, employee activities and hotel policies and programmes.
- Assist in the maintenance and review of HR policies, procedures and practices, upgrading and/or recommending improvements as appropriate.
- Maintain and update manual and computerised employee records, legal documents, policies, procedures, and any other Talent and Culture matters.
- Produce a monthly HR report and various monthly headcount report, monthly absenteeism and sickness report, monthly headcount report, monthly accident report, etc.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a positive atmosphere within the hotel that allows open two-way communication that ensures morale and productivity reach the highest possible levels.
- Ensure operative and supervisory recruitment needs are met, screen and recommend applicants for employment in the hotel in accordance with position and candidate profiles.
- Assist with the Induction and orientation of new employees in accordance with ACCOR Hotels guidelines.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of improved methods of work and better utilisation of employees in all areas.
- Coach and mentor the hotel employees as needed under the guidance and direction of the Talent and Culture Manager.
- Assist in the implementation of the hotel's rules & regulations, the grievance and disciplinary procedure, consulting with department heads on appropriate action under the guidance of the Talent and Culture Manager.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of effective employee relations and welfare programmes in the hotel:
- Monitor all employee facilities to ensure employee security, safety and satisfaction.
- Assist in monitoring present and future trends, practices and system relating to compensation, benefits and other employer initiatives to ensure the hotels remain competitive within the local employer market as appropriate.
- Deputises for the Talent and Culture Manager in his/her absence and undertakes any ad hoc duties or project as requested.
- Assist the L & D Executive of the hotel as required.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
- A strong understanding of UAE labor and employment law
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software)
