Director, Talent & Culture - All Inclusive Collection - Middle East & Central Asia

Who we are:

We provide a variety of functional talent & culture and pre-opening support to hotels and business units across the All-Inclusive Collection including Kazakhstan, Croatia, Egypt, UAE and many destinations to come, consisting currently of 17 hotels and two corporate offices and over 7,500 'Heartists', our valued and talented colleagues who place the heart at the centre of everything they do. This will grow to over 100 hotels in the next five years on a global basis.

Role Purpose:

This role is a key leadership position responsible for leading the Talent & Culture function across the All-Inclusive hotels in Middle East & Central Asia, ensuring the delivery of operational performance through an integrated and innovative strategy.

What you'll be doing:

Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities

As a key leader within our corporate Talent & Culture team, this role is responsible for guiding and optimising how we look after our best resources - our people!

The individual will work closely with both corporate and hotel leadership teams as well as the Director of Learning & Talent Management to ensure that the resorts have a joined-up thinking strategy.

Requirements

Profile:

Education

- Bachelors or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, Coaching or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Ideally CIPD level 7 qualified.

Experience, Technical Skills & Knowledge

- Significant progressive work-related experience in managing and direct the development of large teams
- Broad understanding of people strategy, including the drivers of organisation effectiveness and the links to talent & culture
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skill including strong facilitation skills and ability to communicate information to groups in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills including ability to coach and deliver feedback in a constructive manner to remote teams
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated project management expertise in organising, planning and executing large scale project from conception through to implementation
- Ideally with multiple country experience in Middle East & Central Asia
- Ideally knowledge of KSA & Arabic speaker
- Experience of pre-openings is paramount
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a Director of Talent & Culture role in mega clusters/regional role
- If has Americas/APAC experience desirable
- Has a hotel operational background
- Happy to travel +50% of time
