Job description / Role
Our client is a global law firm with a strong presence in the UAE.
There is a position on offer for a Tax & Compliance Accountant within the Dubai office to work within the Finance department.
Your main responsibilities would include;
- Acting as the Tax Specialist within the firm, developing the regional strategy and effective management of Tax operations.
- Preparing and filing all tax returns and statutory accounts for the region offices.
- Performing audit requirements.
- Monitoring client funds on a monthly basis.
- Delivering Compliance training to the Finance team.
- Conducting reconciliations and analysing disbursements.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills, particularly on Excel and a Practice Management System;
- At least 2 years of experience within a global Accounting Firm;
- A degree qualification in Commerce, Economics, or similar;
- Excellent management, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
