Job description / Role

We are looking for outstanding teachers who are excited to join our world-class schools and are driven to provide education at an exceptional level. GEMS teachers enjoy an enriching school environment in which to deliver a dynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students.

We are interested in teachers with school teaching experience.

Qualifications:
• FS/ KG - Bachelors in Arts along with a 2 year Montessori / 2 years - ECCE
• Example - BA + ECCE (2 yrs) or BA + B.Ed
• (None of the above degrees must be through distance, correspondence or from an open university)
• Primary / Middle - Bachelors in Arts / Science along with Bachelors in Education, both degrees in the same teaching subject
• Example - BA + B.Ed or B.Sc + B.Ed
• (None of the above degrees must be through distance, correspondence or from an open university)
• Senior School - Bachelors & Masters in Arts or Science along with Bachelors in Education, degrees should be in the same teaching subject
• Example - BA & MA + B.Ed or B.Sc & M.Sc + B.Ed (None of the above degrees must be through distance, correspondence or from an open university)
• Specialist subjects teachers such as Dance, Music, Physical Education, Special Education Needs, Art, ICT etc will require a specialist qualification in the teaching subject.
• 2 years of school teaching experience required for all of the above.
