Position Title: Tech Lead
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 10K USD all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Client:
A Dubai based Commodity Trading company with active market participation in UK and expanding globally

Job Description:
• Responsible for end-to-end planning of the project including resources, sprints, milestones, timeline, and deadlines up to the project delivery execution as Senior Python Back-end Developer, including project code reviews on frequent basis and integrating the needed optimizations and changes
• Take the initiative to report and resolve any bottlenecks or issues related to the projects & members they are managing autonomously
• Assist substantially in designing, documenting, and sharing/discussing the project architecture using Scrum/Agile Development methodologies, different approach to data structures & algorithms with the team
• Ensure that best development practices are being followed by the dev team and report any findings or red flags in projects within Python Frameworks (Flask or Django), AWS Cloud, relational databases like PostgreSQL and non-relational databases including Timeseries Db
• Own the technical implementation of project to ensure it is on track, deadlines are met, and progress/bottlenecks is communicated to management thru detailed, technical documentations
• Mentor and coach junior team members and project colleagues

Requirements

Qualifications:
• 40 years old and below
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Python; 2 years as Senior Python Back-end Developer and 3 years in developing REST APIs
• Must have experience in Python Frameworks (Flask or Django), AWS cloud and its resources/services
• AWS certificates is an advantage
• Open to overseas candidates

For overseas candidates, flight ticket, employment visa, and family benefits will be provided by the company along with the quarantine expenses once arrived in Dubai. Also, two months complimentary accommodation will be provided.
