Technical Manager - Pre Cast

Job description / Role

Tier 1 Western Management Specialist Pre Cast Business based in Dubai looking to hire an experienced and strong Technical Manager . Reporting directly into the Regional Manager you will to handle engineering and technical aspects for the business . Managing a team of staff in the Dubai Head Office you will supervise and hands on drive all aspects from Process , Tender , On site , As Builts , Shop Drawings & Design Approvals .

You will have a good strong knowledge of local Clients & Design Consultants in the United Arab Emirates .You will see the speed bumps and navigate the business through all the design and technical aspects needed .

Do you have the ability to resolve technical issues and come up with safe and efficient technical solutions ? You will not only maximize value but add value to the team in minimizing waste and reducing risk at all stages . You will motivate and lead your team encouraging professional development and career growth within the business .

Examples of Pre Contract Duties

Support & manage tender team at pre contract
Oversee design feasibility
Review price and program strategy with peers
Meet & greet clients ,presenting when needed

Examples of Execution Stage (On Site)

Ensure RFIs & TQ’s maintained
Ensure safe working practices
Advised upon issues if known

Requirements

The following is Desired below:
Strong communication skills. Happy to manage meetings, present to clients, communicate clearly face to face, administer contractual points on e-mail.
Fully conversant – Tekla & Autocad
Previous experience of managing a team of engineers & draftsmen for 15-20 Staff
Experience of managing multi national staff
