Job Description
Job Purpose:
Provide technical support to company staff, distributors and customers in Cortec corrosion control solutions.

Primary Duties (office-based):
• Provide technical guidance and support on product selection, application methodology and trouble-shooting both internally and externally to customers and distributors.
• Support Regional Managers and Sales Staff in preparing techno-commercial documents such as bids, proposals, project reports, prequalification documents, drawings and related activities.
• Support Regional Managers and sales staff in increasing sales, solidifying customer and distributor relationships
• Provide engineering support in sourcing supplies, optimizing equipment and other such activities.

Secondary Duties:
• Standardize, control and maintain all technical and sales related documents: specifications, submittals, costing sheets, guides, method statements, questionnaires and others
• Publish technical literature, case histories, bulletins, manuals, press releases
• Conduct training for CME staff, distributors and service providers
• Field support
• Liaise with Cortec Lab in the US and Dubai to request and follow-up on testing

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:
• BS in Mechanical, Industrial Materials or Chemical Engineering
• 3 to 5 year experience in the field of corrosion protection, monitoring or management
• Proficient in using CAD
• Excellent technical verbal and writing communication skills, good filing, documentation and organization skills, coordination and teamwork skills, motivated and driven to learn through reading and researching, ability to work under pressure
