About the Technical Support Engineer role - Merchandising sector role
In this Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of the brand new Dubai office based in JLT and will work closely with the Senior Management Team. The Technical Support Engineer will work on technical projects (Unbuntu systems administration) but will also face customers and help them with their requests.
Part of job will be:
* To be proactive: close to clients and team to help them in their request
* To maintain information in relation to support in using help desk tools
* Build up hardware and installation on software on Linux based OS

Requirements
* 4+ years of experience in systems administration within Linux/Ubuntu OS
* Experience in SSH protocols
* Troubleshooting experience within a pressurised environment
* Good commend of help desk tools
* Highly organised with the ability to follow processes
* Strong communication skills and willing to help customers with their problems
* Autonomous & self-motivated - able to work with a manager who is based abroad
* Fluent in English & Arabic
* Must be based in UAE with a driver licence
