Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To be responsible for Technical Support to Customers, Channel Partners, Sales Managers and System Integrators in pre and post sales for designated BU and its products in a specific territory.

Essential Functions:

Specify and attain approval of the client brand and products into consultants and end users. Incorporate product specifications prior to tenders & enquiries from developers and consultants. Coordinate with customers to ensure specifications are accurate in order to prepare bill of quantity proposals.

Assist in developing and designing Data Center cabling infrastructure for end users and integrators to increase the clients chance of job winning. Design should include cabling proposal, drawings, and bill of material.

Review customer inquiries received by the sales managers and ensure all documents, drawings and specifications are accurate in order to generate proposals on behalf of the quote team; provide support in delivering bill of materials to customers as required.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product line applicable to the job scope by attending product development launches and conducting market research in order to ensure my client maintains a competitive edge in the region.

Responsible for Pre Sales Support, achieving approvals and incorporating product specifications prior to tenders & enquiries from developers and consultants. Coordinate with customers to ensure specifications are accurate in order to prepare bill of quantity proposals.

Maintain familiarity with LMS NS related projects, solution proposals for customized needs, support in site surveys, recommend specifications to consultants/sales managers/end users. Responsible for design, architecture, technical compliance and pre-bid customer discussions, product selection and drawings support for customer proposals.

Participate and coordinate marketing activities. Attend trade shows and assist in the selection and preparation of samples and promotional materials in order to leverage all available resources in the overall goals of maximizing sales across the organization.

Communicate frequently with Line manager/ MD and International Business Development Director – LMS NS on any product issues within the BU and provide feedback and suggestions on all matters that require immediate action ensuring LMS NS products within the ME, Africa and Indiaspecified regions remain competitive bringing maximum revenue to the company.

Assist to develop local vendor base for cost out projects, source new products to complete product basket and maintain relationships between suppliers, our distribution chain, and customers, when required. Provide new product ideas, new applications based on direct market feedback and secondary sources for LMS NS to product managers.

Responsible for professional and timely administrative duties pertaining to the job (i.e. expense reports, monthly sales reports, yearly sales plan, etc) as and when requested by Supervisor. Technical Literature: Assist when required for review and updating with feedback to product managers.

Conduct training for team of general partners utilizing the train the trainer approach for channel partners, system integrators, consultants, developers, etc for the purposes of educating and influencing their purchasing decisions of these products. This will involve travel to customer sites, telephonic support, team resource allocation planning and material coordination to achieve high level of customer satisfaction.

Develop training material that pertains to your market to inform partners and the team on my clients products and industry standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:
University degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Communications Engineering or equivalent.
BICSI RCDD preferred

Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in similar role within industry (with preferably 2 years in a supervisory role)

Knowledge/skills/languages:
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential in English and Arabic..
Aggressive, energetic, and and quick learner
Excellent presentation skills
Strong knowledge in Lighting Control and Energy Management Structured Cabling Solutions.
Knowledge of competitors in local market is an asset
Intermediate knowledge of Autocad, MS Office
Strong reporting and research skills
