Job description / Role
We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. Successful candidate will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers on challenging projects.
You will be responsible for interacting with internal teams to obtain in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements and in-turn produce high-quality documentation that meets the applicable standards.
You will be analyzing existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
You will be creating and maintaining the information architecture as well.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with great attention to detail. You will have 4 years' experience in similar role writing user documentation for mass market mobile applications.
You should be able to grasp complex concepts quickly and simplify it so that even a non-technical person would understand.
You should be able to write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides, also create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
Your verbal and written communication in English should be excellent. You should also ensure consistency, clarity and quality in and across all types of documentation.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with automatically generating API reference documentation from source code.
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation .
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development .
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
