Abu Dhabi Terminals is the management company and operator of Khalifa Port Container Terminal (KPCT) located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

ADT’s diversification of supply chain services offers a full suite of logistics solutions to benefit trade partners and shipping lines. The company is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi Ports and Terminals Investment Limited (TIL).

Key Competencies
- Apart from routine preventive maintenance to ensure high operational availability, the person would be expected to identity and rectify breakdowns in the shortest and cost effective manner to return cranes back to operations.
- Should be able to inspect and identify root cause of failure and suggest actions to avoid recurrence of such breakdowns.
- Reporting to Supervisor (Main workshop) all observations from disassembling of units and inspecting parts for wear.
- Well aware of relevant diagnostic work and repair methods, with consideration given to quality of work and longevity of equipment.
- Working independently and across Mechanical and Electrical disciplines as part of a team.
- Logs details of the job carried out to be in the provided work orders, including the man hours, and provides full daily activity report.
- Performing in a safe manner and conforming to safety regulations and procedures.
- Generating and recording accurate and up to date information within the CMMS System.

Salary:
AED 6475 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Max Total Salary AED.6475, Medical & Group Life Insurance, bonus (on board discretion), annual merit increase on performance and, OT when applicable, Paid leave of 22 working days, Annual ticket amount

Requirements

Education
- Must possess minimum of High School Diploma and additional vocational/technical education in mechanical or electrical or hydraulics field.

Experience
- Not less than 3 years’ experience working as an Electrical / Mechanical Technician within a Port / Container Terminal.

Knowledge / Skills
- Familiar with electronic instrumentation.
- Interpreting mechanical / electrical / hydraulic diagrams, service & parts manuals.
- Ability to replace/repair/adjust major electrical/electronic parts such as PLC drive control system, communication drive system.
- Ability to communicate in English (Speaking/Reading).
