Job description / Role
The successful candidate will work alongside senior management and assist and/or lead as instructed on addressing and managing all IT/Ops/HR needs of the bank, general commercial matters, corporate governance and compliance and other ad hoc legal matters from time to time relevant to the company and its subsidiaries.
* Drafts, reviews and negotiates IT consultancy and other vendor contracts and generally provides legal support to the business with regard to vendor relations.
* Provides legal advice and support to the business while keeping in mind strategic and business objectives.
* Provides direction and guidance to facilitate compliance with all applicable international and domestic laws, rules and regulations.
* Collaborates to establish, disseminate and implement legal policies, including policies regarding management of vendors' risk and trademarks.
* Completes legal tasks and projects in a timely manner and responds to legal queries assigned.
IT lawyer
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience
* Experience in bank preferable.
* Excellent drafting skills
