Job description / Role
Westlake Capital Partners (WCP) is conducting an open search for telecommunications subject matter experts (SMEs) to support our growing client portfolio in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Selected candidates will lead or serve on cross-functional project management teams and/or contribute to our GuideWire© service. Multiple positions are available with both full-time and part-time options. The position(s) offer competitive salary, bonus structure, paid training and skills development and visa/relocation assistance.
Requirements
The ideal candidate maintains a degree in an ICT related field, along with 5+ years of industry experience in a telecommunications discipline including, but not limited to:
- Telephone, IP and data network design, planning and optimization
- Network installation, testing, operations and maintenance
- Network management, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Network budgeting, procurement and forecasting
- Technical expertise with regionally predominant hardware and software technologies
- Technical expertise with various international vendor technologies (Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco, etc)
- Experience with WAN, MAN, LAN best practices and solutions
- Experience with core, backbone and OTN best practices and solutions
- Experience with various transmission technologies and solutions (NGN, SDH, DWDM, etc)
- Experience with wireless networking technologies and solutions
- Experience with inside and outside plant design, operations and maintenance
- Experience with wireline and wireless site placement, installation and maintenance
- Experience with FTTX technologies and services (FTTC, FTTO, FTTH, etc)
- Experience with 3G/4G/LTE/5G technologies and services
