Overview of the role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Service Technicians to join our Toyota Team in the UAE. You will carry out pre-delivery inspection, basic services and minor repairs. These jobs comprise major chunk of the service business and customers, thereby influencing market reputation. You will ensure that work executed is safe, clean, efficient and as per recommend procedures.

What you will do

- Exhibit activeness in carrying out the prescribed jobs in order to complete them on time.
- Ensure basic safety procedures are quickly learned and followed for own and other's wellbeing.
- Exhibit enthusiasm and interest in various classroom and on the job-training course for achieving professional competence.
- Ensure cleanliness of workplace, tools and equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to Company rules, regulations and procedures; ask when in doubt.
- Ensure that all vehicle repair or service are of highest quality.

Requirements

Required skills to be successful

- At least 2 years' experience as a General Repair / Diagnostic Technician coming from automotive dealerships
- Experience with express & periodic maintenance, pre-delivery Inspection, AC Re-gas, alternator tests, battery tests, tyers & wheel balancing and alignment
- Able to read, understand and write English well enough to follow mandated trainings and standard instructions.
- Conversant in English

About the team
The role will report to the Workshop Manager, and you will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Service Advisor, Controller, Foreman & co-Technicians in a daily basis.

What equips you for the role

- Diploma Technical certification, ITI (Industrial Training Institute NCVT Certificate) or ITC
- 2 to 3 years' experience as a General Technician
- Added value in having valid UAE driving license
- Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records in job orders
- Must be conversant in English
