Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Position Summary:
The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for maximizing the value offered to clients and ensuring the profitability of individual accounts. The employee is linked to Finance and Accounts, Sales, and Supply Chain Departments to ensure that the correct demand for the clients is created and fulfilled. Also, responsible to design a sales target (item and outlets-wise) and investment in coordination with the Sales Team, Finance & Accounting Team, and Brand Principal. Also, he/she is responsible to guide and follow-up with the Sales Team to ensure the sales and financial goals are achieved.

The main duties include:
• Design the sales target and investment required for its achievement.
• Responsible for Daily Performance Report that correlates target achievements and spending to ensure the same is going in the line with the budget (assuring the right products at the right time) and lead the meetings with the Teams for the same.
• Make regular market visits to monitor the competitor activities, the pricing strategy of the company, current promotions, and stock level at the POP (point of purchase).
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and in-store promotions offered to determine whether these meet the Company’s objectives and make recommendations for the next promo campaigns.
• Work on planograms, promotions, and merchandising for key accounts or special projects.
• Plan and execute market activities such as new product listing and launching, sampling campaigns, consumer promos, etc.
• Responsible for market spend optimization by allocating the budget across all channels/customers and helping outlets to sell out the stock through various ATL/BTL activities and the season cycle.
• Responsible to analyze and modify the MSL (size and channel-wise) accordingly to the market needs and company goals considering that the market return percentage should be as low as possible.
• Full-year forecast for regular and promo sales - item-wise, customer-wise.

Requirements

FMCG Distribution company with an office in Sharjah, currently looking for an experienced Trade Marketing Manager.
The candidate should have the below:
• At least 2 years of successful and proven experience in the same or similar role in FMCG.
• Bachelor’s Degree (in Management/Commerce preferably).
• Certificate in Trade Marketing is preferred.
• Energetic and proactive person with out-of-box thinking and strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Very strong numerical and analytical skills - translate marketing initiatives into quantifiable measurable performance.
• Very strong team player skills & strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE sales channels.
• Specific experience and attention to detail in evaluating the needs of the field (including external parties/retailers), translating them into specific trade marketing programs, and ensuring they are well executed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills: the ability to clearly articulate ideas in a written and verbal format.
