Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Training Officer is responsible for the design, delivery as well as monitoring of the effectiveness of various learning and development interventions provided by the Learning and Development department for the group.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in the field of Learning and Development
• Minimum of at least two years working experience in the healthcare setting
• Experience/ working background in Electronic Health Record systems e.g. TrakCare, Cerner or Epic is desirable
• Relevant experience in e-Learning (Articulate, Moodle etc.) is an advantage
• Background in the use of learning management systems is an advantage
• Has competency in all aspects of the Training Cycle: Conducting training needs analysis, Designing training programs, Platform and presentation skills, Evaluating training effectiveness (Kirkpatrick Levels of Education)
• Presentation/ Facilitation skills
• Program/ course design and development skills
• Computer literacy and understanding of applications specifically MS Office applications e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Visio, Survey Monkey and eLearning software i.e. Articulate or Moodle.
• Managing change initiatives
• Fluent in English Communication (written and oral); Arabic Communication skills is an advantage
• Proficient in the use of various training aids and equipment
• UAE Driver's license is a must
