UAE National - Executive Director - Projects Finance

Job description / Role

Manage the planning, control and coordination of all activities related to monitoring, cash flow, reporting and control for corporate projects and capital expenditures to ensure the adherence and compliance with the approved financial policies and procedures.

Description

* Assist the CFO in the development of long-term financial plans for Board approval, ensuring alignment with strategic business direction and financial objectives.
* Ensure the development and implementation of financial and accounting policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines in adherence to established guidelines and timelines.
* Review and propose updates to project-related policies and seek necessary approvals.
* Participate in business planning meetings, providing feedback to the CFO and Head of Strategic Planning.
* Manage project financial risks, oversee accounting functions, and ensure accurate reporting for projects and capital expenditures.

Requirements

* UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)
* 10 + years of experience in the fields of accounting and/or financial management.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognised university, CPA, CA, CMA, MBA preferred.
* Understanding of financial audits, budgeting, financial statements, financial modelling, etc.
* Knowledge of financial management systems processes and controls.
* Knowledge of IFRS accounting practices and principles.
