Job description / Role
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Support Services sector strategy to align with entity's overall strategy, vision, and mission.

A local government entity in Abu Dhabi.
Description
* Implement efficient financial controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Establish and maintain a robust governance environment to ensure financial integrity.
* Motivate and develop the finance team to achieve functional objectives.
* Approach change management to improve functional systems and practices.
* Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
* Lead the finance team in preparing accurate financial reports meeting the required standards.

Requirements
* UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)
* 10+ years of experience within financial strategy, financial governance, and compliance with IFRS standards.
* Previous experience with a government entity is preferred.
