Our client, a leading international bank within their industry with an office in Dubai, are looking for a VP compliance manager covering the GCC. This is a newly created role based on the development and growth of the compliance function. The role is located in Dubai.
Client Details
Our client is a leading Financial Services organisation within their industry. The team's main function is to ensure compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) for the bank, as well as implement an overall compliance program.
Description
* Work with Head of Compliance to ensure compliance to regulatory standards
* Use the transaction monitoring system to assess and dispose alerts
* Assist Head of Compliance to look over suspicious transactions and examine STR filing
* Instrument the KYC framework and detect gaps in KYC
* Implement and evaluate policies, as well as manage stakeholder cooperation in terms of completion and signing off
* Perform FATCA / CRS related activities and report to the regulator

Requirements
* Minimum 10 years of experience in banking with a minimum of 3 years in Compliance / Audit
* Graduate in Business / Finance and Accounting
* Candidates with compliance related courses / certificates are preferable
* Exposure to private banking, KYC, onboarding and compliance is desirable
* Previous entrepreneurial and management experience
* Excellent communication skills
