Job description / Role
We are actively looking to add an experienced web developer plus SEO to our esteemed organization. If you have strong e-commerce web design and development abilities plus strong knowledge of SEO and have worked in a marketing department before, then we’re looking for you! Working with our team, you will be maintaining our e-commerce website and working on special projects related to the web and internet marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintaining, expanding, and updating website content and pages
- Proven project coordination experience, ability to set time frames and meet deadlines, including the ability to be flexible and manage simultaneous projects with varying priorities
- Help to enhance our website to increase general traffic to the website and traffic-to-lead conversion rates
- Ensure responsive web pages work on a variety of web browsers and mobile devices
- Contribute to the design and implementation of email marketing and online advertising efforts
- Strategic and help implement ways to improve and track site performance
- Approaches problem diagnosis and solving aggressively and demonstrates creative problem solving abilities
- Ensure best security practices and compliance measures are implemented and maintained
- Create and maintain system updates and implementation documents
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills - ability to work independently and with a team
- Other duties may in include: IT support, Monitoring and supporting to re-solve branch office IT issues
We offer a very competitive salary from AED 7,000 - AED 9,000/ month, based on experience. This plus a healthy commission structure based on online sales generated and paid through our e-Commerce website.
Our firm is proud to offer an excellent benefits package that includes Medical, Yearly return home ticket with one month leave salary.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in website e-commerce develop/design and programming
- Understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge.
- Experience with front end technologies and frameworks (Bootstrap experience a plus)
- Experience with SEO (search engine optimization)
- Should be well verse and to support IT
- Experience with UX/UI design and development
- Experience with of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery including cross browser compatible coding
- Experience with email marketing and HTML formatting compliance
- Well versed in code optimization, debugging, and software design principles
- Troubleshoot and handle website issues as they arise
- Maintain website uptime; performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns and keeping up to date on required software updates to mitigate any issues
- Import and export of data to our ERP and CRM to integrate with our website
