Web Developer - Operations - Dubai

As a Web developer, you will work as a coder to work across a range of client projects. A coder passionate about building apps, bots and innovative digital experiences. A coder who understands that in an agency you can't take a creative brief as a set of instructions and just “translate” it into software. You must be able to creatively interpret it. and be flexible, proactive and curious.

Responsibilities
- Develop responsive cross-browser compatible websites/apps based on usability.
- Provide website maintenance and enhancements - Meet and co-ordinate directly with clients if needed.
- Educate and inspire agency team around the use of technology.
- Create quality prototypes on tight timelines.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into new projects and activities.

Requirements

- Proven work experience as a Full-Stack developer
- Hands on experience with PHP and Laravel Framework
- Experience developing responsive design websites
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git, SVN or Mercurial)
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Experience with web best practices such as A/B testing, test coverage.
- Experience using WordPress/Drupal CMS, from installation and configuration to theme and module development.
- Ideally have experience with React JS or Vue.js
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Patience while explaining/suggesting technical solution limitations and opportunities to team that may not have technical knowledge.
- Curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit to research project-related issues and challenges independently.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
