Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, graders, and loaders. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, graders, and loaders
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and perform repairs as necessary
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Order and maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies
• Ensure that equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Train and supervise junior mechanics and apprentices
• Keep up-to-date with new equipment and technologies

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Equivalent
• 35 Years Old
• With at least 15 to 20 years’ experience
• Hands on experience in Caterpillar & other equipment is must
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
