Job description / Role
My client are a prestigious MEP consultancy based in the Manchester area, and they are currently searching for Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their prolific M&E design team. If you have experience on Build projects, including Commercial, Retail, Residential, High-Rise, Mixed-Use, Sports Complex, Data Center, Hospital, Factory, Hotel, and Offices, then this is the job for you.

Role:
- Create and design electrical projects, ensuring all electrical services conform to Legislation and Health and Safety procedures.
- Ensure all electrical design is fit for purpose for the detailed specification.
- Carry out checks on proposed subcontractors ensuring they are technically competent to carry out the proposed MEP work.
- Communicate project designs effectively to both team members and subcontractors.
- Project management, taking responsibility for less experienced engineers in the team and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

Requirements
The Perfect Candidate:
- Experience on a variety of Build or Infrastructure projects
- 4+ years experience in Electrical Design
- Motivated, Hardworking, Reliable candidate
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services preferable
