Junior Urban Planner

Job description / Role

Acting for an excellent multidisciplinary consultancy with offices in London and throughout the Middle East, they are seeking to recruit a Junior Urban Planner to work in the London office. Though the post is based in London, there are likely to be opportunities for frequent travel outside the UK.

The candidate should be able to input into and coordinate master planning projects and manage the time and resources of internal and external teams effectively, to be aware of deadlines and to work well under pressure. Client liaison is a must as well as being confident at presentations and meetings and have a degree or post grad degree in PLANNING.

Requirements

Candidates should also have experience in a multi-disciplinary environment and of working on large and complex urban planning and master planning projects. Have excellent planning and presentation skills, initiative, motivation and be a team player, an excellent knowledge of current best design practice and sustainable development and a thorough knowledge of the design and planning process and the role of all necessary disciplines within project team.
