About the position

We seek a dynamic and motivated Cloud Networking Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be key in supporting clients with their Google Cloud Platform (GCP) adoption, explicitly focusing on designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud network solutions.

Principal Duties

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement cloud network architectures aligned with their specific needs and business objectives.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of network documentation, including diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with the implementation and configuration of security measures, including firewalls, to ensure data protection and network compliance.
• Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify and troubleshoot potential issues, ensuring seamless network operation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of automation scripts to streamline network provisioning and configuration tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud networking technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience in networking and infrastructure, with exposure to cloud platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform concepts and services (familiarity with other cloud platforms a plus).
• Basic understanding of network security concepts and tools (firewalls, VPNs).
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
