Information Security Officer

Job description / Role

The job purpose of an Information Security Officer is to ensure the security and protection of an organization's information systems and data assets. The Information Security Officer is responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive information security program that safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.

You will be

• Handling the audit exercises (internal, external, and regulatory) and closing the identified issues.
• Handling the compliance interactions and responses internally and with the regulator.
• Ensuring that the Information Security policy is being followed up by the business units and the IT Department in UAE.
• Detection and response of cyber incidents in coordination with the IT Department and timely reporting to the CBUAE.
• Incidents documentation and resolution follow up with the business units and IT Department amongst other responsibilities.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or any related subject or equivalent is required.
• Related Technical qualification is preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of practical experience in a bank or same or similar function
