IT Manager

Job description / Role

As an IT manager, you oversee the company's IT department, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software. You have to develop strategies to meet business objectives and manage a team of IT professionals.

Duties:
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business objectives
• Manage and administer the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and security
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and recommend solutions
• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of websites and web-based applications
• Lead end-to-end implementation of ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration
• Monitor and evaluate ERP system effectiveness for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards
• Stay updated with technology trends for innovation within the organization
• Lead and mentor IT team for growth and development
• Develop and manage IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Liaise with vendors for contract negotiation and service delivery
• Provide timely technical support to users, resolving issues efficiently

Salary:
AED 22,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; master's degree is a plus
• 5+ years proven experience in IT and project management, preferably in retail or FMCG
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and software applications
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex technology projects
• Proficiency in project management methodologies
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Solid experience in IT budgeting, contract negotiation, and vendor management
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement
