IT Support Engineer

Job description / Role

- Administering Servers and Virtual Machines Servers, Network Systems, Telephone Avaya, CCTV Systems, and NAS (FileServer and Cloud).
- Manages and troubleshoots Website Domain issues.
- Monitor and manage all subscriptions related to IT needs.
- Monitoring and maintaining the Hosting & Email System and resolving email user problems.
- Implementing and overseeing a storage and backup management schedule.
- Responsible for Face ID and Biometrics Door Access management.
- Checking on all IT hardware peripherals that need to be upgraded and/or replaced to avoid total breakdown.
- Providing full desktop end-user support on all IT scopes.
- Implementation and responsibility for Home Automation (Lights, Audio, Cinema, Door/Water Sensors, and A/C).

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
- Experience in administering servers, network systems, and other IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Strong knowledge of website domain management and hosting systems.
- Familiarity with email systems and backup management procedures.
- Experience in managing access control systems like Face ID and Biometrics.
- Ability to assess hardware requirements and recommend upgrades or replacements.
- Excellent desktop end-user support skills.
- Familiarity with Home Automation systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
