Senior Architectural Designer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join our team in UAE-Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and a proven track record of leading projects from concept to completion. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects in the architectural industry.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process from concept development to construction documentation.
- To take full responsibility for creative and responsible design concept carried through from the initial presentation sketches, through to final presentation submission to obtain approval from client and local authorities
- Create and present design proposals, including 3D models, renderings, and drawings, to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into the design process.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and participate in knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 16-20 years of experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, CG, SketchUp, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Salary negotiable depending on the experience and design flair.
- Directly reports to the Principal Design Architect
